You and Me: The day I met him :)

Every "Fairy Tale" starts off with Once Upon A Time, Every "Love" Story has a ending leaving you wanting more or it leaves you wondering what's going to happen next. My story goes like this: It was just another day. I mean nothing out of the ordinary as far as that goes. I woke up around 8:30 as I do on an every day basis, brushed my hair, stayed in my pajamas (because that's what homeschoolers do) and slowly, I mean SLOWLY dragged myself into the kitchen to eat a "reduced fat cinnamon roll". After Breakfast begins school(yay...not), then a break for lunch and back to school. (You see, nothing unusual.) Later that night I had a game to cheer at for EHCS (East Hill Christian School), I mean nothing unusual there either, I had been doing that for a couple of weeks. As the game ended I moved over to a different side of the court to talk to a couple of my friends, I found a seat next to some guy I had no clue who he was. He proceeded to move over and let his friend sit there, I mean I had no offense or anything against that, I had no clue who he was. A couple of weeks passed and my friend Emma had a birthday party; let's just say, that night was the best night of my life. It was the day I met Jake. As I sat in the booth at the Melting Pot, Jake walked into the party. I remember thinking, I want to know him, he seems like a really great guy, and he's cute too:) That night was a blast, I received a nickname that night and so did he.... I was "chipmunk" because of this face I make when I talk with some kind of drink in my mouth. He was known as "Skewer Boy" because he and I got into a Skewer fight... haha oh the memories. After that, I began texting him as soon as the party was over, and from that night on I knew Jake was going to be someone special in my life. I mean, it was like I had known him my whole life and I can tell him anything and everything. January 25, 2011 is the best day of my life.... it's the day he became mine. I truly thank God for putting Jake into my life, I love him. I can't imagine my life without him.... EVER! Jake your my everything.... Always and Forever. :) I LOVE YOU! <3

Friends: They know all about you and your past, yet they still love you for who you are.

Think about it? What would YOU do if you didn't have your friends? or even your best friends. I mean honestly, your friends are a HUGE part of your life. They are there when you need to talk, have a problem, just need a laugh and make you smile. I've come to realize that without my friends, I really don't know what I'd do. I mean, some of my amazing friends are like family, of course we sometimes argue and get on each others nerves, hurt each others feelings (not meaning to) and keep things from them not knowing what they'd say, but True Friends are there no matter who, what, when, where and why. Just to name a few of those "best friends", Heather, that girl is like my EVERYTHING. I can tell her anything and she listens, I laugh with her 24/7, she's like my sister, we have code names for certain people(haha), she's my other half and I couldn't live without her. Jake, my AMAZING boyfriend, wow, I honestly don't know how I lived without him. He makes me smile, he has a great and funny personality, treats me right, he completes me, he's my world, whenever something goes wrong or I'm in a bad mood, he can make me smile no matter what and I couldn't ever imagine living without him. Lizz, she's been there through ALOT, many trips, stories and everything! I mean, we've both gone our separate ways lately but when we see each other it's like nothing has changed. My little sister, Syd, haha we have our moments but she will always be my sister. No matter what happens I know she will always be there just like I'll always be there for her. I love her even though sometimes we do get on each others last nerves! She's great and I can't live without her. Maribeth, oh golly, haha I LOVE her. She's ALWAYS there for me, she's my older sister! She's gorgeous, she's amazing, I can tell her anything and everything! See, friendship isn't always easily described. The Eskimos, they say, have a hundred different words for snow. Unfortunately, the English language isn't quite as innovative, though it has vast opportunities to differentiate meaning. Certainly, Love is one of those opportunities. And so, too, is Friendship. Instead of different words, however, we're stuck with simple adjectives. Close friend. Best friend. Childhood friend. Intimate friend. Trusted friend. Beloved friend. But whether you use adjectives or different words, few could deny the nearly infinite meaning in such a simple word. Friends are special people. We can't pick our family, and we're sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society and mores (and often our own conscience) dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life. So in the end, thank God for your Best Friends because A true friend thinks of you when all others are thinking of themselves. :)
